We don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to wellness.

When assessing your condition and planning your treatment, we take into consideration your lifestyle as well as all other underlying factors which could contribute to or hinder your recovery. Based on this knowledge, we build personalized rehabilitation program that encourage independence and personal achievement.

We believe in being available for our patients when they need us and this is why we operate on very flexible hours. Feel free to schedule appointments with your therapist early mornings, late nights and even on Saturdays.

Our Staff

Priti W.Raina, P.T.
Physical Therapist

Priti has over 35 years of experience working with surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromuscular injuries. She is often recommended by doctors for patients as part of their recovery process, prior to opting for surgery.

Having founded Shady Grove Physical Therapy & Rehab Center in 1991 as a means of both providing her patients with a unique physical therapy experience while simultaneously promoting health and wellness in her community, she has improved the quality of life of countless people, many of whom were diagnosed with vestibular and neurological conditions.

She currently specializes in a number of areas, including: chronic headaches, manual therapy and myofascial release for the neck, back, and peripheral joints. She is also a certified yoga and tai chi instructor, where she implements a holistic and hands-on approach when caring for her patients. Over the last thirty years, she has regularly organized yoga and injury prevention workshops for her community.

When she isn’t at work, she enjoys listening to music, reading and spending time with her family and three energetic dogs.

Sarika Raina, D.P.T.
Doctor of Physical Therapy


Dr. Raina attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate studies and earned her BA in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience.  Following in her mother's footsteps, she then obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University.

She is a certified clinical instructor and has had the honor of sharing her passion with doctorate level physical therapy students. As such, Sarika believes that education is the key to empowering her patients and allowing them to play an active role in their road to improved health and wellness.

Sarika believes in providing the highest quality of care, service, and personal attention in a comfortable and compassionate atmosphere. She has extensive training and experience in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, including dysfunctions of the spine and pelvis, post-surgical rehabilitation, gait and balance.

Sarika is also the resident specialist in women’s health conditions, including prenatal and postpartum conditions, and pelvic floor dysfunctions. In addition, she has a special interest in sports rehabilitation and enjoys working with athletes of all ages.

When she isn’t at work, she enjoys cooking, yoga and spending time with her family, friends, and adorable dogs.
